Drug-busting authorities “lied” about Tor weakness, devs claim — Tech News and Analysis

Drug-busting authorities “lied” about Tor weakness, devs claim — Tech News and Analysis  Here we see how desperate the anti drug nazis are and how ,in the end.The only way police ever make any arrests is when someone makes a mistake and then takes down as many "friends" as they have to to survive.By survive I do mean slither out from under by throwing others under the bus.As a person with more bus tire tracks on his back than most.I can say without a doubt that I was never arrested by good, solid police work.Unless you think squeezing a coward for names to bury in their place is police work. The police think it is.Tor wasn't defeated. It is as safe today as it ever was.The anti drug nazis simply did what they always do.They made a creep sell out as many people as he had to to get the narcs off his case.He will probably spend the remainder of his miserable life making anti drug videos and trying to sell his miserable story to hollywood.I was very sorry to hear of the demise of silk road 2.That was until I learned the facts about what happened. If you have any plans to create a world wide drug network to service a market that is so miserably under served,by all means do so.Just don't do it in America, where the government can threaten to take away your entire life and mean it.Don't do it in some backwater that has even harsher penalties for selling a marketable product that a lot of people want.Go to a country with sane drug policies and where they cannot make the kind of threats that you can't handle. You may end up doing a little time. But only if you make a mistake and expose yourself. Most countries aren't as psychotic as some others. In civilized countries,if you are savvy enough to use the net to get what you want, they won't spend millions to try to get to you.In countries like the USA,where prohibition was born,it's a religion. An ideology. It's a poison and a blight on free thinking people.I was an attendant at the Vienna drug convention held in Vancouver,BC.Day one was a collusion of US drug fanatics along with the very few others that are hysterical on the drug situation.Day two was the rest of the world telling those fanatics that he world will be better off with their demise. The eventual final conference in Vienna was a confirmation that the drug war was a mistake and a tragedy. That it's entire approach was flawed and a monumental failure.Ever since that conference we have seen the forces of prohibition doubling down on their policies. While in some countries, most notably Portugal, the pursuit of drug addicts and users has ended forever. They have been witness to a lowering of usage and of increases in addiction that once seemed unstoppable. It seems that drugs, like all vices, are best left to those that are fond of them. The spread of these vices due to the commercialization of their use is a far greater problem than the substances themselves. That commercialization is increased by the prohibition and the following increase in their value. The more the police spend on cracking down, the greater the problems that arise. The more violence used in trying to intercede the more violent the criminals that traffic. The internet has to be the best possible way to connect the people in source countries, mostly poverty stricken places, with the customers. It's the best way to put the dollars in the hands of the people that need it the most.It would eliminate the need for policing and it would strip the criminal element of billions in income.Of course that's the last thing those in power want. They want their systems to continue to spread misery, poverty and addiction on their rules. The lest positive and most punitive method ever devised. That's the system we live under right now. It's the worst possible way of dealing with what has always been a minor irritant.Up until the current prohibition, which has caused everything to degrade into the lowest possible denominator. Our current drug laws.
